The first incident occurred on May 16 and a JCB one tonne dumper truck with a 'Speedy Hire' logo on it, was stolen from the site which is at the junction between Firgrove Road and Aylesham Way.

Police are appealing for information after two separate incidents where plant machinery has been stolen from a building site at Aylesham Road in Yateley.

The first incident occurred on May 16 and a JCB one tonne dumper truck with a 'Speedy Hire' logo on it, was stolen from the site which is at the junction between Firgrove Road and Aylesham Way.

The second incident occurred some time between May 30 and June 8 and another JCB one tonne dumper truck was stolen along with a JCB digger. Both had 'Speedy Hire' logos printed on them.

PC Simon Campbell said: "Have you noticed anything unusual at this building site? These items may have been stolen to order and may have been transported on a large truck so would have been quite noticeable.

"It may have been easy to assume that when the plant machinery was being moved it was for a genuine purpose, but I would ask anyone to report anything which may be suspicious to police immediately."
