Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after two Co-Op stores was burgled on the same night.
At around midnight on Thursday, August 30, two men who had their faces covered and had light-coloured hooded tops on, broke into the Co-Op in North Lane, Aldershot, and stole a quantity of cigarettes.
They made off in a dark-coloured saloon car, possibly a BMW 5 Series, towards Ash Road.
Also on Thursday, August 30, between midnight and 5am, two men broke into the Co-Op in the Forest Centre, Pinehill Road, in Bordon, and also stole a quantity of cigarettes. The men also had their faces covered.
Detectives are linking these two incidents and would like to hear from anyone who was in either area at the time and saw anything suspicious.
Detective Constable Andy Grieve said: "These were very similar incidents which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, August 30.
"Did you see anything suspicious at either of the Co-Op stores? Or did you see a dark-coloured BMW 5 Series in the Aldershot area at the time of the burglary?
"If you have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please contact me."
Two men have been arrested and charged with burglary in connection with a separate incident which occurred at the Aldershot Co-Op when the premises was insecure.
Luke Florey, aged 23, of Crimea Road, Aldershot, and Louis Third, aged 20, of Crimea Road, Aldershot, have been charged with burglary and are due to appear at Aldershot magistrates court on September 13.
