Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Empshott.

The burglary occurred between 7am and 2pm on Tuesday, August 21 in the Le Court area.

Entry was forced to the home and a safe was stolen containing jewellery. Thieves also stole a number of tools.

PC Paula Jackson from Alton police station said: "Do you recognise the heart shaped gold pendent in the photograph that was stolen during the burglary. The item is quite distinctive and I would like to hear from anyone with information about its whereabouts.

"I'd also like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious person or vehicle in the Le Court and Blackmoor areas on Tuesday, August 21."
