Police have released CCTV of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of two gold chains from a shop in Andover town centre.

The incident occurred at around 1.15pm on Tuesday August 14 at a jewellery store in Waterloo Court.

A man entered the store and asked to see some gold chains. He was then joined by a second man.

The men were shown two 9ct yellow gold curb chains; they grabbed the chains, valued at £1400 each, and ran from the store.

Detective Constable David Mills from Andover police station said: "I would like to hear from anyone with information about this incident or the stolen property.

"I would particularly like to speak to the man in the CCTV as he may be able to assist us with our enquiries."
