Police are appealing for information following a theft in Andover.

At around 11am on Thursday, August 9, the offender walked in to Sainsburys, Shepards Spring Lane, Andover.  Once inside, he took a large flat screen television off the shelf, placed it in a trolley, and walked out of the store, without making any attempt to pay.

The Panasonic television was worth £349.99.

PC Lisa Wearn, said: "This man boldly walked out of Sainsburys with a large flat screen TV without making any attempt to pay for it.  He left the store between 11am and 11.30am and there were a number of people in the area at the time.  Did you see him pushing the trolley?  Do you recognise the man in the CCTV?

"I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
