Chief Superintendent Dave Thomas leads the Western Area which comprises Southampton City, New Forest District, Eastleigh Borough and Test Valley Borough (South) local authority boundaries.
The area has a population in excess of 593,000 living in more than 222,000 households served by more than 900 police officers and approximately 200 police staff from 14 operational police stations. There is a Safer Neighbourhoods policing team for the area where you live or work and their priorities are set by you to help reduce crime and make your neighbourhood safer.
