The new Hampshire Constabulary website is here!
Hampshire Constabulary's new-look website is now live and offers added functionality that allows easier access to the most popular services.
Just by entering your postcode, you can access local news, information, appeals and details on upcoming events.
Key to the individual personalisation of the website is a "portal" option, which allows you to customise your homepage - either permanently or temporarily - so that the information you receive relates specifically to what's happening in your neighbourhood.
Additional new features will be launched during 2012 in order to offer users further opportunities to access information that interests them or relates to the communities in which they live or work. This will include online reporting.
Chief Superintendent Matthew Greening, head of the force's Public Service Directorate, said: "Hampshire Constabulary is pleased to be able to offer the residents of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight a new and improved website that reflects the way in which many members of society wish to access information in the 21st century.
"This new-look website is a prime example of how we are always trying to improve the service we provide to our customers, the public. We want to provide easier access to more information and the website is one way we can achieve that.
"There's plenty more still to come in terms of new functionality and information and we would welcome any feedback via the website, both now and as we develop the internet service over the next few weeks and months."
Members of the public are reminded that they should always dial 999 in an emergency. For all non-emergency contact with the force, including reporting a crime by phone, contacting an officer or member of staff, and getting advice and information, the 101 number is always available.
