CADDIE is a website that has been built by Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. CADDIE can help you see what is happening in your local area and how, together, we are working to reduce crime, tackle the fear of crime and promote quality of life issues around Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Access CADDIE to find up-to-date information about crime and disorder in your area.

The data tables below display data held in Hampshire Constabulary's Crime and Incident Management system. The data compares performance for your local area from 1st April to the current date with the same period last year. It will indicate whether crime and detection rates have gone up or down.

Work is currently in hand to amend the data for Rowdy and Inconsiderate Incidents for the current year, which have been subject to changes in their groupings and classifications by the Home Office.

The data for your area is also compared with crime data for the force as a whole to indicate local performance.

A detection is where the investigation of an offence has been resolved by way of:

  • Charge;
  • Summons;
  • Caution;
  • Offences Taken into Consideration;
  • Reprimand;
  • Final Warning; or
  • Fixed Penalty Notice.

Differences in recorded crime and detections may be seen on a daily basis due to the requirements under Home Office Counting Rules to ensure that each crime is recorded accurately and ethically. This may result in a decrease of recorded crime.
