Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his wallet stolen as he walked to the shops in Popley.
At about 6am on Sunday, July 17, a 62-year-old man was walking in Popley Way, just outside Abbey Court, when a man approached him and stole his wallet. It contained various cards and a small amount of cash.
The man who stole the wallet is described as white, of a medium build, aged about 19 and about 5ft 8ins tall. He had blond hair and was wearing a blue-coloured top.
PC Glen Spierling said: “This happened early in the morning when many people may have been making their way to work or going out to buy a newspaper.
“If you have any information or you saw anyone matching the description please contact me.”
