Police warn householders to keep their properties secure following attempted burglary in Tadley
Police in Basingstoke are reminding people to ensure their homes are secure following an incident in Tadley.
Some time between 12.45pm and 1pm on Tuesday, May 10, an offender has tried to smash a double glazed kitchen window of a house in Fairlawn Road with a brick.
The offender was wearing a grey top and jeans.
PC Colin Jackson said: “This person has left the scene on foot, someone would have seen this person running away or noticed someone matching the description in the area.
“This would appear to have been committed by an opportunist and people should be reminded to secure their properties and outbuildings.”
