Information sought following suspicious incident in Aldershot

Police are appealing for information after a suspicious man was seen loitering around ladies toilets during a school sports day.

Shortly after 10.30am on Thursday, July 7, a man entered the ladies toilets at the Aldershot Military Stadium in Queens Avenue. He stood on the toilet seat and peered over into the next cubicle where a 14-year-old girl was sat.

The man is described as black, aged in his early 30s, about 5ft 10ins tall and of a medium build. He had dark-coloured short hair and was wearing a white hooded top with blue stripes and blue jeans.

PC Phillip Howe said: “This appears to be an isolated incident but causes concern for police due to the age and subsequent vulnerability of the victim.

“The incident occurred during a sports day when lots of people were around, but this does not seem to have deterred the offender. If you know who this man is or have any information, please contact me.”
