Police seek witnesses after valuable stereo equipment and alloy wheels are stolen from a car in Basingstoke
Police in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after stereo equipment and alloy wheels worth about £700 were stolen from a car.
The maroon-coloured Vauxhall Corsa was parked in Wagner Close, Basingstoke, between 10am and 6pm on Sunday, May 29, when the theft occurred.
The items stolen were –
• A Vibe 10ins sub-woofer with built-in amp
• A black amplifier
• A Sony cd player
• Two JBL silver and black speakers
• Three black and chrome alloy wheels and new tyres
PC Lee Bishop said: “This equipment is fairly unique and it is likely that there will be attempts made to sell it on to local motorists.
“I would ask anyone who is offered such equipment or who knows anything about this incident to contact me as soon as possible.”
