Police appeal for witnesses after farmhouse burgled in Southwick

Police are appealing for witnesses after a laptop and a quantity of cash were taken during a burglary at a farmhouse in Southwick.

Some time between 5pm and 6pm on Thursday, September 1, offender(s) entered a bungalow at Ashlands Farm in Southwick, which is between Common Lane and Shoot Hill.

An Apple laptop and cash from a wallet and a purse were taken.

PC Emma Purser said: “I am particularly keen to hear from anyone in the Southwick area who may have had unusual callers recently or noticed anything suspicious in the area.

“I would also like to speak to a boy aged between 14 and 18, who may have been in the area on a pedal cycle around the time of the burglary.”
