Police release name of Southampton murder victim
Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in Southampton have released her name.
Anita Bawtree’s body was discovered at a flat in Napier House, Paynes Road, Southampton, in the early hours of this morning. (Tuesday, April 19)
The 34-year-old, of Napier House, Paynes Road, Southampton, had sustained stab wounds.
A 54-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in police custody at this time.
