Operation Bengal – Woman seriously injured in crash on the A303 at Popham
Police are appealing for information after a woman was seriously injured following a crash on the A303 at Popham.
A 21-year-old woman from Kent who was driving a light blue Fiat Punto on the eastbound carriageway, lost control and left the road.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and is currently being treated at Southampton General Hospital.
The 21-year-old man who was a passenger in the car, also from Kent, sustained minor injuries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, which happened at about 6.20pm on Saturday, January 1.
