Detectives appeal for witnesses to assault near Hook

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted as she walked home between Hook and Odiham.

Sometime between 12:30am and 1:15am on Saturday, March 12, a 21-year-old woman was walking along the B3349 between junction five of the M3 and Griffin Way south roundabout, when she was grabbed from behind and punched to the face.

She sustained a black eye and was left extremely shaken by this incident.

Detective Constable Graham Robson, from Aldershot CID, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw this girl walking along the road or who has any information about this nasty incident.

“Due to its proximity to the M3 there may have been motorists who saw what happened and may have vital information about this incident.”

Can you help?
