Police appeal for witnesses to incident in Cosham on Easter Sunday morning

Police in Portsmouth are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a flare was thrown through a window in Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham, this morning, Sunday, April 4, 2010.

Police and fire were called to the property at around 10:20am.

One person in the house was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene but did not attend hospital.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Hawthorn Crescent area at the time of the incident and saw or heard anything unusual to contact Fratton CID on 101.

Four people have been arrested in connection with this incident. They are all men aged 29, 30, 24,  and 32 years old, from the Portsmouth area.
