Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by two men and had his wallet stolen in Farnborough.
The victim – aged 23 – was walking along Station Road near to the junction with Victoria Road between 1.30am and 2am on Saturday, September 3, when he was hit to the back of the head.
He was then held down by one man while another punched and kicked him. It is believed the two men had previously been walking with a girl and another man.
The first man is described as black, aged in his early 20s and about 5ft 8ins tall. He was of a slim build and had short black curly hair. He was wearing a white hooded top.
The second man is described as white, aged in his early 20s and about 5ft 8ins tall He was of a slim build, with light-coloured hair and had a clear complexion. He was wearing a light-coloured hooded top.
The attackers took the victim’s wallet, which contained a small amount of cash, a green Nokia mobile phone, and a passport.
Detective Constable Jo Brocklehurst said: “We believe the group may have visited a fast-food outlet near Clockhouse Roundabout shortly before this incident took place.
“If you saw anything or have information about this incident please contact me as soon as possible.”
