Police appeal after EpiPen stolen in Winchester burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a flat in Winchester.
The resident had just returned from work to his flat in Marston Gate, at about 8.30pm on Thursday, August 18. He opened the French doors, which lead out onto communal gardens and left his laptop bag in the lounge of his flat in Marston Gate.
When he was about to leave his flat about 30 minutes later, he realised his laptop bag was missing.
The bag contained a laptop, a pair of glasses, two mobile phone chargers and an EpiPen – an automatic injector pen used to administer insulin.
PC Rich Jones, from the priority crime team in Winchester, said: “The flat is part of a fairly large development in the city and it seems the offender(s) ran off through the communal gardens so someone may have seen something.
“The EpiPen contains insulin which could be very harmful to members of the public if not used correctly.
”If you saw anything suspicious or someone running through the gardens with a laptop bag, please contact me.”
