Police appeal for information following burglary in Chineham
Police in Basingstoke are appealing for information after cash and Race for Life medals were stolen from a house in Chineham.
Some time between 2am and 2.30am on Saturday, June 4, a man broke into a house in Warbleton Road, in Chineham, using an implement to gain access through the letterbox.
A quantity of cash was taken along with several business cheques and Race for Life medals.
The offender was then confronted by the owner of the house and he ran off towards Chineham Village Hall.
The man is described as white, aged in his early 20s, and was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.

Two 15-year-old boys, a 14-year-old boy and two 14-year-old girls were arrested in connection with this incident and have since been released with no further action.
