Police appeal for witnesses after assault in Yateley car park

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in the Co Op car park in Yateley.

Shortly after 4pm on Monday, June 20, a man and a woman were seen arguing about how close one of them had parked to the other.

The argument soon became heated and both the man and the woman say they were assaulted by each other.

PC Geoff Hill said: “It is believed there were a number of people in the car park at the time who may have seen the incident.

“It’s believed a woman and an older man were asked to intervene and I am particularly keen to speak to them.”
