Police appeal for information after burglary at Alton Bowls Club
Police are appealing for information after the bowls club in Alton was broken into over the weekend.
Some time between 10pm on Friday, July 1 and 11am on Saturday, July 2, offender(s) broke into the club in Westbrooke Road, Alton, via a small window.
Once inside, the offender(s) took food from the fridge and spirits from behind the bar. A small amount of cash and a mobile phone were also taken.
PC Duncan Filer said: “I would urge anyone who knows anything about this burglary to contact me.
“We have several strong leads and I would encourage the offender(s) to come forward immediately.”
