Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked, leaving him with a broken jaw.

The 19-year-old from Cosham was walking along London Road, North End between 10.30 and 10.50pm on Friday October 23.

He was attacked by two men, in their late teens-these men were with two girls, thought to be around 17 years old. These girls were wearing dresses. The man was then further assaulted by a youth after the initial attackers made off.

Detective Constable Alison Richards who is investigating said: “This man was kicked and punched, resulting in an injury to his jaw which will require ongoing treatment and dental work.

“This is an appalling attack-especially as the man was actually attacked twice. We are determined, with the public’s help to find out who is responsible. If you have any information, no matter how small, please contact police.”

Can you help?
