Police are issuing an appeal for witnesses and information following an incident in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth.
Three people, including two children were hit by air pellets after a dispute at Allaway Avenue on Saturday October 18.
It happened at around 2.45am after a number of residents went out into the street during an argument about noise issues
A 32-year-old woman was hit in the chest, a 14 year old girl in the arm and her sister, who is 11, was hit in the face.
The youngster was taken to QA hospital where she had an operation to remove the pellet from her face. The other two suffered minor injuries.
Detective Sergeant Tony Flannagan who is investigating said: “The person who fired the pellets deliberately aimed into the group of people. It is fortunate that this did not cause more serious injury.
“We want to hear from anyone with information about who is responsible for firing those shots.”
