Update on two-year-old found unconscious in swimming pool in Fareham
A two-year-old boy who was found unconscious in a swimming pool in Fareham is making good progress with his recovery.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the Abshot Country Club in Fareham on Saturday June 12.
Paramedics attended the scene and the child was taken to Southampton General Hospital in a critical condition.
The two-year-old remains in Southampton General Hospital but is no longer in the paediatric intensive care unit.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s Specialist Investigations department carried out an investigation into the circumstances around how the boy came to be in the pool.
This investigation is now complete and no further police action will be taken.
