Three men charged after weapons discovered in car in Southampton

Detectives have charged three men following the discovery of a number of weapons in a car that was pulled over by police in Southampton.
Police from the Southampton tactical Cycle Team arrested three men at the scene after carrying out the stop check on a Saab Convertible in Alma Road, Southampton at just before midday on Thursday, December 18.
During the check a number of offensive weapons were recovered including a gun. All three men arrested were interviewed by Detectives and have now been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and also possession of a handgun.
The three men are:
Terrance Leon Gordon aged 28, from Harold Road, North Acton, London,
Adrian Stuart McCrae, aged 41, from Harvest Lane, Thames Ditton, Surrey,
David Dennis Noel, aged 31, Wheatfield Road, Luton, Bedfordshire. Terrance Gordon has also been charged with possession of ammunition.
The men all appeared before a special hearing of Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday, December 20. They are all due to appear before the court again on January 30, 2009.
