Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a Southampton petrol station have arrested three people.
Around 4.30pm on Saturday August 24, a man made off with a large amount of cash from the Total petrol station, Clock Tower services, on Bassett Avenue, after threatening the manager with a handgun The man made off down a footpath next to the garage, before getting into a white van parked in Chilworth Road.
Two men, aged 46 and 35-years-old, and a 37-year-old woman have been arrested and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
