Teenager dies in hospital following Bordon crash
One of the passengers in a car involved in a serious road crash in Bordon has died in hospital.
Nicholas Bushell, of Watson Road, Blackpool, died on Sunday, June 20, at Kings College Hospital in London.
The 17-year-old was being treated for serious injuries he sustained following the crash which happened on Whitehill Road, Standford, Bordon, at about 9.40pm on Tuesday, June 15.
Nicholas was a passenger in a blue Fiat Punto car being driven by Lee Smith, when the car left the road and collided with a tree.
Mr Smith, 18, from Belfast in Northern Ireland, died at the scene.
An 18-year-old man from Paignton in Devon, who was also a passenger in the car, sustained serious life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
The other passenger, a 17-year-old from Torquay in Devon, suffered minor injuries.
All four people in the car were serving army personnel.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the car prior to the crash or saw the crash to contact them.
