Six people charged after bus driver attacked in Southampton

Detectives have charged six people in connection with an attack on a bus and its driver which happened at the end of May this year.
41-year-old bus driver Tibor Templom received multiple injuries to his face, arms and back following the attack at 11.20pm on May 30 after he got out to see who was smashing windows on his bus.
He had to undergo surgery to the injuries to his face. It happened when the bus stopped in Lordshill Way, Lordswood near Coxford Road.
Following an extensive investigation by Shirley CID, 4 youths and two 18-year-olds have all been charged with violent disorder.
Two of the youths are aged 17, the others are aged 15 and 16. One of the 17-year-olds is also charged with grievous bodily harm.
All the youths come from Southampton.
The two adults facing violent disorder charges are Craig Stride from Chelveston Crescent, Southampton and Luke Foss from Duttons Road, Romsey.
All except Luke Foss will appear before magistrates on Thursday, November 13. Mr Foss will appear on Tuesday, November 18.
