Second man charged in connection with Aldershot murder

Detectives from the Major Crime Department at Hampshire Constabulary have charged a second man in connection with a murder in Aldershot.
William Aaron Stewart, also known as Billy, aged 24, of Lancer Court, Aldershot, has been charged with the murder of Andrew Rickwood.
Mr Rickwood died following an incident in Basing Drive in the early hours of Wednesday, July 20.
Mr Stewart appeared at Aldershot magistrates court this morning and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Monday, August 1.
Stephen Charles Stewart, also known as William or Billy, aged 43, of Lancer Court, Aldershot, has also been charged with the murder of Andrew Rickwood. He has since appeared at Winchester Crown Court and was remanded in custody until September.
