Detectives in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a betting shop on Wednesday (September 7).
Shortly after 9pm staff at the Betfred shop in Kings Road, Basingstoke were cashing up when three men entered the shop and threatened the staff before stealing money from the safe.
The first man is described as:
- White
- Approx 5ft 5/6in
- Slim build
- Aged in his late teens
- Wearing a dark coloured hoody, with the hood up and blue jeans
- He had a local accent.
The second man is described as:
- White
- Wearing a dark coloured hoody hiding his head and face, a dark Barbour style quilted jacket and blue jeans
The third man is described as:
- Black
- Wearing a dark coloured hoody with red or burgundy Adidas style stripes on the sleeves and dark jeans
- He was unshaven with stubble.
The men left the shop with a couple of thousands pounds carried in a sky blueleather Dunlop record style bag and an iPhone. The bag and phone belonged to a member of staff.
