Portsmouth police to reconnect with the public in information and engagement day

Offiicers from Portsmouth’s
Paulsgrove Safer Neighbourhoods team
will be holding a free ‘meet the team’ event this month, to get in touch with their local community.
The event, which will be held on February 21, will take place at the Paulsgrove Community Centre, between 10am and 1pm on Marsden Road, Paulsgrove.
PCSO Anna Harrison said: “We are inviting members of the public to come along and meet their local officers, and voice any concerns they have where they live or issues they want addressed.
“We will be on hand to provide information to people that will help explain what the police do in the community. We can also advise who they can report a specific incident to, as well as offering crime prevention advice.
“This kind of community engagement is the perfect way to meet local residents and get to know them, building relationships and establishing new bonds. Together we can tackle local priority issues and improve everyone’s quality of life.”
The information day will also have representatives from the following:
- Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service
- Portsmouth City Council's Community Wardens
- The NHS
If you have any questions about this event or would like to speak to your local officer, you can call us on 101. Alternatively you can log on to
