Police trying to trace owner of stolen diamond ring 
Police are trying to trace the owner of a diamond ring believed to have been stolen during a burglary in or around Southampton.
The 18 carat while gold band is a size G½, the head is platinum and the centre stone confirmed as a diamond. There are three smaller stones either side.
The ring is thought to have taken during a burglary prior to May 22, 2010.
Burglary investigation co-ordinator Helen Ward of Hampshire Police, said: “This ring may have come from a burglary in Eastleigh or Romsey but it is probably most likely it came from Southampton. “We’d really like to reunite this ring with its rightful owner.”
