Police are appealing for information after a spate of criminal damage in Liphook, East Hampshire, on Wednesday January 11.
Two buildings and seven vehicles were damaged overnight between 12.50 and 2.15am. A window and roof tiles were broken at Liphook Football Club's clubhouse at the recreation ground at 12.50am.
Officers believe three men then went on foot to the following locations:
• Manor Fields where three cars had wing mirrors broken off
• Ontario Way where, at 1.05am two further cars had their wing mirrors broken off, one kicked off
• Midhurst Road car park where one car had both wing mirrors broken off
• Chiltlee Manor Estate where one car had a wing mirror broken
• The men then returned to the recreation ground at 2am where a window was broken at the Willows children's nursery. They then made off on foot onto Haslemere Road.
The men are described as wearing casual clothing, including at least one hooded top.
PC Simeon Poulton who is investigating said: “Mindless vandalism such as this has a significant financial impact on the victims as well as causing major inconvenience.
“We’d like to hear from anyone who saw or heard what happened or who knows who is responsible.”
He added: “Liphook is a relatively small community and therefore it is likely local people will hear about who did this. Crime is not high in the area and I’d urge anyone with information to come forward.
“In order to minimise the risk of more cars being damaged, drivers may like to consider parking off road or use security lighting and fold wing mirrors in.”
