Police are releasing four photographs of items thought to be stolen from vehicles in Southsea in an effort to reunite the goods with their owners.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, August 18, police were alerted after three youths were seen acting suspiciously around parked vehicles in Campbell Road, Southsea.
Three 15-year-old boys, two from Southsea and one from
Portsmouth, were
arrested nearby.
Police recovered a number of items which are thought to have been stolen from vehicles parked in and around Campbell Road.
There are four outstanding items; a torch, a soft toy, a pencil sharpener and a pair of sunglasses, whose owners have yet to be identified.
PC Chris Smith said, “Though some of the items may not appear to be very expensive they could hold great sentimental value and we are keen to locate the owners as soon as possible. If you think any of this property is yours, please get in contact.
“I would advise vehicle owners to ensure their cars are locked and secure and all times, and remember never leave any items on display.”
