Just after 11am on Friday, July 24, a man was seen by a passing member of the public at a house where a brick had been thrown through a window.

The person challenged the man, who said he was the son of the residents of the house. It later transpired that the man had broken the window to gain entry to the house, and had no connection to the home owners.

A laptop was stolen from the address.

The man is described as:

  • White
  • Between 18 and 25 years old
  • 5ft 7ins tall
  • Of medium build
  • Short cut blond hair which was brushed back
  • Blue eyes
  • Boyish face
  • Deep voice
  • Wearing a light grey tracksuit, which looked to be made of slightly shiny material

PC Catherine Edwards said, “We are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward, and particularly if you recognise this man – do you know him? Or perhaps you saw him in the area that day, or you’ve seen him since? If you think you can help please get in contact.”
