Police release e-fit of man following burglary in Portsmouth

Police investigating a burglary in Portsmouth have released an e-fit of a man they would efit of man re burglary at Westminster Placelike to speak to.

At around 12.25am on Tuesday, October 13 a member of the public challenged a man who had been seen exiting through the window of an address in Westminster Place, Portsmouth. The member of the public followed the man and then challenged him.  The man ran off, leaving the television that had been taken from the premises.

The offender is described as:

  • White
  • Aged around 18
  • Around 5ft 6ins
  • Slim build
  • He had short dark hair
  • Wearing a green t-shirt and navy coloured jogging bottoms

PC Allison Fraser, said: “I am appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to come forward.  Were you in the area at the time of the incident?  Did you see or hear anything suspicious? I would urge anyone with any information to come forward and speak to us.”
