Police name deceased Rose Bowl construction worker

Police have named the construction worker who died in an industrial accident at the Hampshire Rose Bowl, as 34 year old Philip Carsley from Thurnscoe, North Yorkshire.
Police and the Health and Safety Executive are currently investigating the circumstances that led to Mr Carsley’s death, which occurred at around.2pm on Monday, February 8.
Mr Carsley was working on the construction of a new spectator stand currently being built at the Rose Bowl in Botley Road, West End, on the outskirts of Southampton. Mr Carsley’s family have been notified.
