Police investigating two assaults in Farnborough are appealing for witnesses.
Between 1am and 2.30am on New Year’s Day, two men were walking along Lynchford Road towards North Camp. The two men were then involved in an altercation with two other men and a group of four or five girls.
One of the victims, a 24-year-old, was hit to the floor and then punched and kicked. The other, a 26-year-old was pushed into the road and punched.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened. In particular they would like to speak to a man described as:
• White• Aged between 25 and 28
• had short spiky gelled hair
• was wearing a black jacket and jeans
One of the women is described as:
• Of a slim build
• Had shoulder length blond hair
• About 5ft 5ins tall
• Was wearing a short black party dress and high heeled shoes
A second woman was also wearing black party clothes and was taller than the first.
PC Victoria Blake said: “This was an unprovoked attack on two men who were walking between parties in the early hours of New Years Day.
“The assualts took place on a main road, and we know there were vital witnesses passing by. One was a woman on a motorbike or moped, and there were two men in a silver car. They stopped to speak to the victims after the attack.
“We’d like to speak to these people as they could have information which could help our investigation.”
