Police are issuing a photograph of a bike which was stolen in a raid on a shop in Petersfield. It happened between 2.45 and 2.55 am on Saturday October 29 at “Cycle Life” in Dragon Street.
The front window of the shop was smashed with a brick and the cycle was taken from the window display. A small red hatchback is thought to have been used in the burglary.
PC Alexis Stanbrook is investigating and said: “The bike is a ‘Corratec X-Force 01’ in white, which is a specialist bike and distinctive. It is valued at around £4,000.
“If you have been offered this bike for sale we’d like to speak to you-or if you saw the small red hatchback car in the area please contact us.”
