Police issue advice following spate of thefts from cars in Whiteley Fareham

Police are reminding motorists not to leave valuables in their cars following a spate of thefts in Whiteley, Fareham.  

Seven cars were broken into overnight between Tuesday  8 and Wednesday 9 of November, at Oak Coppice Road and Thyme Avenue.  

Amongst the items taken were with a memory stick, Garmin Nuvi 3760T satellite navigation system, CDs and money.

PC Stuart Turner is investigating and said: “We’d like to remind people not to leave anything of value in their vehicles. Also, do remember to lock your vehicle, even if you are away from it for only a short time.

“We’d also advise motorists not to lock valuables in the boot of cars.  

 “If you have any information on these thefts or saw anything suspicious please contact police.”
