Police investigate after boy found unconscious
Police are investigating after a two-year-old boy was found unconscious in a swimming pool in Fareham.
Officers were called to the Abshot Country Club in Fareham on Saturday, June 12.
Paramedics attended the scene and the child was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains stable but in a critical condition.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s Specialist Investigations department are investigating the circumstances around how the boy came to be in the swimming pool at that time.
They have already spoken to many of the people who were at the club on Saturday evening, but would like to hear from anyone who was at the club between 6pm and 8pm and hasn’t spoken to police.
