Police in Winchester are investigating a robbery and are appealing for witnesses.
It happened on Thursday November 24 at around midday. A 21-year-old man was running in Winnall Moors, off of Durngate Place when he was struck on the back of his head.
He fell to the floor and £100 in cash was taken from him.
The robber is described as:
• Male
• White
• 25-35 years old
• Between 5ft10 and 6ft tall
• Dark hair
• Wearing a red baseball cap with white on the peak; a blue waist length puffa jacket, and dark blue tracksuit bottoms with a single white stripe on the leg
Police officers conducted a search of the area soon after the robbery was reported but were unable to trace the man.
PC Adam Quantrill of Winchester (North Walls) police station is investigating and said: "This appears to be a planned robbery as the robber went straight for the victim's pocket containing the cash, leaving his mobile phone behind.
“Given the distinctive nature of his clothing, I am hopeful that somebody saw this man in the local area either prior or after the attack."
