Police in Southampton seek owner of diamond ring

Press Releases

Published: 20/08/2010

Police are trying to trace the owner of a diamond ring believed to have been stolen during a burglary in or around Southampton.

The 18 carat while gold band is a size G½, the head is platinum and the centre stone confirmed as a diamond. There are three smaller stones either side.
Do you recognise this ring?
The ring is thought to have been taken during a burglary prior to May 22, 2010.

Burglary investigation co-ordinator Helen Ward of Southampton's Priority Crime Team, said: "This ring may have come from a burglary in Eastleigh or Romsey but it is probably most likely it came from Southampton.

"We’d really like to reunite this ring with its rightful owner and proof of ownership will be required."
