Residents of Paulsgrove and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to voice their concerns with the police this Saturday, March 20.

The Safer Neighbourhoods team (SNT) for Paulsgrove is a holding a beat surgery in Browning Avenue.

Police officers and police community support officers (PSCOs) will be on hand to hear people’s concerns with the aim of gaining a better understanding of the issues and informing the public of how they will tackle them with the help of other local partner agencies.

They will look at topics including anti-social behaviour, alcohol abuse and vandalism, and free bike marking will also be offered to all attending.

PC Kevin Burnand from the Paulsgrove SNT said: “We are committed to making Paulsgrove one of the safest neighbourhoods in Portsmouth.

“By engaging with the local residents we can tackle any issues raised and take appropriate action where necessary.

“This is the community’s chance to speak to officers face-to-face and ensure that they have 100 per cent faith in Hampshire Constabulary and the range of services we can offer them.”

The event runs from 1pm until 3pm and is open to everyone.
