Police charge three men following assault in Portsmouth

Police have charged three men following an assault in Portsmouth last Thursday (April 16).

 It happened on All Saints Street, Portsea at around 11pm. Two men, aged 31 and 60, both from Portsea were attacked-the older man is in a serious condition at Southampton General Hospital. He suffered serious head injuries. The younger man suffered facial wounds and bruising.

Two 17 year old men from Southsea and Portsea were charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent; and wounding/causing GBH without intent.

They were remanded into custody and will appear before magistrates today (April 21).

20-year-old Carl Stephen John Parkinson of Plumley Walk, Havant was charged with attempted wounding with intent and wounding/causing GBH with intent.

He was bailed and will also appear before magistrates today.
