UPDATE: Appeal for witnesses following serious collision on B3004 near Liphook

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash near Liphook in which a woman was seriously injured.

The collision on Friday, August 20 occurred shortly after 2pm on the B3004 along Headley Road.

A tractor towing a trailer loaded with straw bales was travelling south along Headley Road towards Liphook when, on negotiating a left hand bend, the trailer overturned on top of a green Renault Clio travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Renault Clio, a 61-year-old woman from Hindhead, Surrey, was trapped in her vehicle and received serious injuries.

She was taken to Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford, where she remains and is described to be in a stable condition.

Police are looking for witnesses to the collision, and anyone who saw the tractor and trailer travelling along the B3004 prior to the crash.
