Police appeal for witnesses to burglary at Petersfield restaurant

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a restaurant in Petersfield on Sunday, June 28.

Between Midnight and 12pm the Malabon restaurant in Dragon Street was broken into via a back door.

Several bottles of alcohol and frozen meat totalling around £1000 were then stolen.

PC Craig Shears, of the Alton Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an unusual burglary that happened during the night.

“We would ask anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact us as soon as possible.”
