Police appeal for witnesses following serious collision in Southampton

Police are appealing for information following a collision on Milbrook Road West, Southampton at 8.35pm on Saturday.

A silver Citroen Saxo was travelling east on the road, towards Southampton city centre when it was in collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 35-year-old Southampton man sustained serious head and leg injuries. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he is now recovering.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw either the car or pedestrian prior to it, to contact PC Ken Venning at Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Timpani.
