Police appeal for witnesses following burglary in Basingstoke
Police in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after a safe and a set of car keys were stolen from a house in Popley, Basingstoke.
Some time between 2pm and 6.30pm on December 29, offender(s) broke into a house in Appleton Drive, Popley. A small black safe which contained cash and various keys, including car keys, were taken from the house.
PC Erin Davies said: “This burglary happened at an end-of-terrace house which backs on to a large grassy area.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously or anyone carrying a small safe in the area?”
